Our Doctors

Dr. Saara Hashmi received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the Pforzheim Honors College at Pace University. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York. She completed her clinical internships and externships with Omni Eye Services of New Jersey and SUNY College of Optometry.

Dr. Hashmi has training in vision therapy and pediatrics, specialty contact lens and anterior segment, and comprehensive eye care with an emphasis on glaucoma. She also has experience interpreting various diagnostic tests and co-managing patients with ophthalmologists.

Most recently, Dr. Hashmi was a primary care optometrist with Vision World in Scarsdale and was previously a primary care optometrist with WestMed Medical Group in Yonkers, NY.

When she’s not with her patients, she loves reading and hiking with her husband.

Dr. Boos is a highly experienced optometrist with over a decade of practice, specializing in ocular disease. After earning his undergraduate degree from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY, Dr. Boos pursued his Doctor of Optometry degree at SUNY College of Optometry. He further honed his expertise through residency training in ocular disease at the VA Hudson Valley and is board-certified by the American Board of Optometry.

Dedicated to providing exceptional eye care, Dr. Boos values building long-term relationships with his patients and prioritizing their vision health. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, cheering on the New York Knicks, and exploring new hobbies.
